As a kid, there are accounts (verifiable accounts!) of me sitting wide-eyed in front of the TV, more captivated by the ads between movies than the movies themselves. Those 30 seconds were somehow wildly exciting to 6-year-old Shravan. That was my introduction to the idea of ‘Brand‘.
Fast forward to a day in the British Library in Bengaluru. I was skimming through the racks of books aimlessly when my eyes fell on a particular book called ‘The Field Guide to Typography’ And a whole other world opened up—the world of design.
As I started to flip through it, I was hooked! Ever since, I have only fallen more and more in love with the world of brand and design.
When I’m not obsessing over sign paintings on shops or zoning out over different typefaces, I’m either depleting my savings on Kodak 35 film rolls or making wooden wands for my friends (side hustle, check out @gubbiwands).
